Up to this point, we've managed to keep a television out of our primary living room and kitchen. We have an upstairs den that's our primary TV-watching area; which makes it much more of an intentional activity. At our old house (before kids), it was right there when we walked in the front door, so way too often it'd get turned on right when we came home, we'd eat dinner in front of it, etc. Some of my siblings have no cable; not sure if we'll ever take that step, but I do admire people to can completely cut the cord...

I'm not sure I'd really enjoy eating in front of the television anymore - my food always gets cold because I'm too engrossed if there's something good on.

as someone who went to bed at midnight (or 12:30 ish), instead of 10:30 when I was told to: this^.

Luckily she fell asleep before I came Up. No dear I came up at 11. You were asleep. Must've been really tired. Oh you remember checking the clock at 11? Well, I wasn't righta at 11 obvs. Just after....what's with the inquisition?
